“What sets the WEL funds apart from a typical VC investment opportunity is that it redefines the role of a Limited Partner (LPs). Typically, LPs are passive investors in funds in which they invest. The WEL funds ask its members to contribute and collaborate across the investment process from sourcing deal flow, due diligence to the ultimate investment decision. The breadth and diversity of our collective professional experiences and perspectives enhanced the depth and quality of our investment process. Everyone has a role to play at WEL Toronto whether one is making their first angel investment or are a seasoned angel investor.”
